Deep Question: Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

Sherman Alexie's novel Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, we follow the defining moments in Junior's life through his journal. What defining moments would you write about? Why is telling/sharing our stories so important?

  2. I think the book touched on so many common issues that teenagers face regardless of their background, race, etc. Every teenager knows what it is like to try to fit in, to be picked on, to be "in love," to have a best friend, to face a crossroads where they have to make a tough decision, etc. I think the author did a great job at making Juniors story humorous, touching, and triumphant. It is so important to share stories about growing up because they define who we are and they define the people we become.
